Finding Axolotl
A Children's Book
Concept Note - This book was a part of a college assignment where we had to develop a "Children's Book". This is an extension of the character I had developed as a part of my comic strips - "Axo Comics". The concept of the book is to find the axolotl amongst the aquatic surroundings. It is a puzzle book with complex and cluttered illustrations with clashing colours, making it difficult to find the character. The colours used are vibrant to engage the attention of children of younger ages. Shades and tints of blue have been used dominantly to giving it a calming effect as well. Overall, it enhances the visual and spatial skills in children.
