a 0 to 1 geriatric healthcare product initiative tailored for the elderly, aimed at improving their health and reducing caregiver stress

Phase 1 : Secondary Research
Research Papers on Preventive Healthcare Programs
Went through 90+ research papers to understand the scope, health impact, and cost-effectiveness of various preventive programs across the world.

Phase 2 : Primary Research
Interviewed caregivers (children) to grasp the key healthcare challenges concerning their parents and subsequently synthesized the gathered insights.

Phase 3 : Co - Creation Study
Conducted a study to figure out the shape of solution and identify features that work well for users. We achieved this by testing concepts through interviews using rapid prototyping.
Challenge Overcome : Since the end product combined both services and digital product design, it was challenging to gather real insights. We solved this by using multimedia and personalization to make the experience as real as possible.

Synthesis through Solution Matrix
To streamline data synthesis, we created the Solution Matrix tool, enhancing the efficiency of note-taking and synthesis.
As a result, we identified which features stood out and which had low responses. We gained more detailed and nuanced understanding of the specific features being examined.
Phase 4 : Pilot Design
In order to test this product across 10 users, we created an MVP design for the product.
Step 1: Created MVP journey for all stakeholders involved
Challenge Overcome : Aligning diverse stakeholders and convincing them to achieve a mutually beneficial solution which is minimal effort and maximum impact for all posed a challenge. To facilitate this, I crafted journey maps for each stakeholder to improve coordination.
Step 2 : Created User Flows
User facing app flow (used by the caregiver - child)
Backend platform flow (used by loop frontstage employees)
Step 3 : Developed the MVP solution for testing. It had three sides to it -
MVP App to be used by the caregiver (the child)
Whatsapp chats between the parent and the dedicated medical advisor
Backend application for the medical advisors to upload information and keep track of user’s data
Phase 5 : Testing + Feedback
Internally tested the MVP product with 10 users and established a feedback loop to gather insights. Achieved an overall 90 NPS rating.
Phase 6 : Final Design Solution
Overview: Parent Care is a continuous care solution for seniors, aiming to improve their health and ease caregivers' stress.

1. Caregiver Health Tracking App (Key Screens) : An easy-to-use app for caregivers (children) to monitor and track the health of their elderly parents.

2. Dedicated Medical Advisor Support : A personal medical advisor helps with task reminders, ensures your parents follow through, manages appointments, and provides assistance in emergencies

Phase 7 : Acquisition and Marketing Strategy
Step 1 : Conducted a Buying Journey Research
Conducted interviews with individuals who purchased similar products as ours to gain insights into their buying journey.
Challenge Overcome : Navigating the complexities of marketing a subscription-based high-priced product presented challenges. However, we overcame this hurdle through conducting a buying journey research
Step 2 : Creating marketing collaterals
Challenge Overcome : Given the constraints of limited resources in this 0 to 1 project, I adopted various roles. I served as a developer (for website creation), marketer, researcher, analyst, and designer to ensure swift project execution.
